For those that haven't already scrambled on the Internet to look at the cover, what is on your bottom-left is the picture of what the first cover looks like. I should apologize for telling everybody so late, like months late, but I won't. It's been easily accessible on any search engine.
As said, the next book will be out March 2005. Also, I've broken my piggy bank to purchase some UK Wicca books. I'm trying to figure out why I did it and for what purpose. I could say it's because of the covers, but really, fancy covers is bottom on the "why I want list". I still don't know why. Oh well! I will probably buy two more books, and then I will decide if I want the whole set. The total I'm going to pay for the 15 book import is enormous. I will eventually scan pictures of the back covers because it's worth looking at (a continuation of front cover). Unless some good souls scan good scans for me, it will probably take a year or so to complete in the gallery. I could also do the back covers of the US ones, but I never thought they were worth looking at. Really, Really. The comment box will return within a day or so (if I can get it working again--ha), so stay tuned.

For those that don't know, Sweep is being published in Italy as Dark Magic (no translation) by publisher Mondadori. Book one is called Il libro delle ombre (translates Book of Shadows). The cover is not bad looking: dark and gray with a glowing book on a pillar. I will put a picture of the cover up in a little bit. Watch for an update soon. The book was published several months ago (September), but the next book will be March 2005. Personally, I think it's very neat. ^_^

Balefire book 1 is finished. Cate Tiernan loves it, and her editors are very pleased with the results so far. It's still in the editing and polishing stages, though. The book will be released under the new imprint called Razorbill. Sounds familiar? Razorbill was established just last year, but their book list will be released starting Fall 2004. If you go to Penguin Putnam's site and look under imprints, they briefly mention Cate Tiernan and her new series, along with other upcoming books.

Here is a PDF file of the edits found in Wicca's 10 and 14 books. You must have Acrobat Reader to read it. Update : A rich text format of the file is now here. You must have Word Pad to read it, which means if you have Windows, you will most likely have Word Pad. Also, if you have Microsoft Word, it will work, probably 2000 edition and above.

Thanks goes to Moon Chick for coming through with an excerpt of the "love scene" between Morgan and Hunter in Seeker. I typed out the US version and compared it to the UK version, and I found some interesting results. It still have to give it another round of looking, and I gave it to Moon Chick so she could look at it, but there were some edits in the book 10's make out scene--from a few words to a few sentences. It's not that bad, but I would think fans want to read the whole version, no matter how paltry an edit is. It will be up soon--for those that are curious. Most likely in .doc format.
