Just some quick updates: Amazon.com added Immortal Beloved to their database this week. They just recently, like today, added a summary:
Nastasya has spent the last century living as a spoiled, drugged-out party girl. She feels nothing and cares for no one. But when she witnesses her best friend, a Dark Immortal, torture a human, she realizes something's got to change. She seeks refuge at a rehab for wayward immortals, where she meets the gorgeous, undeniably sexy Reyn, who seems inexplicably linked to her past.
Nastasya finally begins to deal with life, and even feels safe--until the night she learns that someone wants her dead.
Cate Tiernan, author of the popular Sweep series, returns with an engaging story of a timeless struggle and inescapable romance, the first book in a stunning new fantasy trilogy. The exact publishing date is September 7, 2010. According the publisher's site, Immortal Beloved will be out in hardback, audio book, and e-book. Gosh, Cate Tiernan is moving on up!
Oh, yeah, Sweep's three-in-one edition will be out in September 2, 2010. Coincidence? I think not. However, you can still purchase the book at your local Walmart now.
One more thing...Immortal Beloved will be published in the UK January 2011.
Oh! Another thing: Cate Tiernan did an interesting interview here and she is quoted in the Gardian UK here.
Whew! Okay, I'm done.

Cate Tiernan has updated her site, which includes some more info. The most interesting thing is an excerpt from book #1 of Immortal Beloved. The cover you see there is a "placeholder" cover for Immortal Beloved (verified by Tiernan's Twitter page), so it's not the real cover--but still nice to look at! Oh, yeah, she also has a forum. I guess I should be jealous and whatnot, but I'm just GLAD. If I quit all this tomorrow (been on the mind for a long time) I don't have any guilt anymore.

What you see right there is (finally!) the omnibus edition of Sweep, volume 1. Yes, it's suppose to look old and worn. If you haven't been following, Cate Tiernan (yes, she has her own site now) mentioned that the first 3-in-1 volume of Sweep would be released at Walmarts across the nation (USA?) in January 2010. It will be released elsewhere in September 2010. I can confirmed that it is indeed out--because I bought my copy at my local Walmart--and the cover you see is my personal scan.
So, if you don't have a copy, then get it now. Besides, you're getting the best deal; the book is selling at--gasp!--$7.99 retail price (but at Wally World you get a 25% discount!). I knew those previous reissues were too pricey, which is why I didn't buy them. Anyway, the book contains the first 3 Sweep books, and that's it. Besides the new cover, there's nothing else to see.
There is no word on when (or if) the other volumes will be released. If you don't have a nearby Walmart...well, I don't know what to say. Walmart's own site does not have it in their database. Hopefully, that's temporary.... Ebay may popup with some copies soon or something.

Firefox error fixed. Ha.
Just so you know: I'm doing updates to ALL pages of the site. So corrections, changes, etc. are extremely ongoing. There maybe some changes you will not notice, while others (if you've been looking at this layout forever) you will notice. This will probably take weeks to months because my working on this site is sporadic.
The site really needs a new layout or a total stripping. I don't know which one I will do in the future (if I do it at all).
I will also finish some Night's Child stuff soon. I will FORCE myself to endure this book. (You can tell by the last sentence that I wasn't fond of book 15. Still not! But the last part was great, minus the dark wave part.)
I got some Balefire stuff that I need to throw out online. One day...
