I'm still here. Right now I'm doing some updates to the site that are not important to announce. I don't have anything new about Immortal Beloved. Sorry!

The only thing that couldn't be salvaged was the previous post. Oh well. Didn't say anything important anyway.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, ignore this message. :P

I stumbled upon Chapters Indigo today, and look what I found: Immortal Beloved release dates. Now, it's subject to change, but here it:

Immortal Beloved Trilogy (released in HARDBACK)

  1. Everlasting Life - April 1, 2010
  2. Everlasting Dark - April 1, 2011
  3. Everlasting War - April (1), 2012 (<--thanks Steven)

Some might point out that Chapters is a Canadian online bookstore, but in most circumstances US books are released in Canada simultaneously (most of the time). Chapters also states trade back release dates, but I’m focusing on first release dates here.

Yeah, I know it's a long wait, but from what I've read it sounds plausible. (Hint: in May 2008, I read she hadn't started on book one yet.)

Maybe somebody will drop me better news. Until, until....

A huge shot out to Sian and Laura for digging up some info on Immortal Beloved. If I'm not doing it, at least somebody is--and kind enough to email it to me (because, you know, email is so passé *sarcasm*).

Anyway, Laura, hooked me up with a link that has a pretty detailed summary about Immortal Beloved. The link is here, but the summary is this:
New name, new town, new life. Nastasya has done it too often to count. And there's no end in sight. Nothing ever really ends . . . when you're immortal. But this time is different: Nastasya knows that this new town must hold her salvation-or her death. It's time to turn towards the light, but it's not going to be easy after centuries of feeding from the lives of the innocents around her, of living with little care for others. With the help of a willing teacher and two other students who may be friends or may be foes, Nastasya struggles to overcome her nature and forge her own legacy and a destiny that leaves darkness behind forever.

This is a gritty urban fantasy series for teens from the author of the SWEEP and BALEFIRE series.

And to Runa: If Sweep was ever made into a movie, your best bet would be to visit this site here. I'm really bad at replying to emails. Heck, I don't even text people, so that should say something!

Didn't King James I say something like No news is better than evil news? Hey, I agree with him, especially since I have NO news to give you. That's great, right?

The re-released issues of Sweep books 7 & 8 are out. I think 9 & 10 come out in April/May. After that books 11 & 12 will be published about 1 1/2 to 2 months apart. Don't ask me why; maybe to drag the series out even longer.

I don't have any info on Immortal Beloved. I've been looking...somewhat. I haven't contacted Cate Tiernan since...since I don't know when. Probably fans know more than I do.

However, next month is probably a "big" month for Cate, non Cate Tiernan related, though. So I wish her luck. (Please don't ask.)
