For your viewing pleasure, here is the original working cover for book one, Bridge.

Around 2003, Cate Tiernan was originally hired to write a trilogy called The Nine Lives of Chloe King for the packaged company 17th Street Productions. However, she stepped down due to creative differences. At first, she was really excited about its direction. But when it strayed from something she didn't fully believe in, she left the project. The series was then handed over to author Tracy Lynn, under the pen name Celia Thomson (a pen name chosen by the packager).

The first book's title was change from Bridge to The Fallen. It is interesting to note that in the published novel the main character falls from San Francisco's Coit Tower, setting up the trilogy's plot. Notice in the original working cover it is the Golden Gate Bridge.

I have read the books, and they are pretty decent. However, at times I wonder how different it would have been if Tiernan wrote it. Oh well. Such is the publishing life!

If you want to purchase the books, below are links to the entire trilogy, via Amazon.com. Enjoy!
