Calm down, I told myself as I gazed into the bathroom mirror and struggled to pull my long brown hair into a tidy French braid. This is going to be fine. I glanced at my watch. My boyfriend, Hunter Niall, was due any minute. Normally I would have been thrilled to be spending and evening with him, but tonight was nor ordinary night. - Chaos errupts--books flying, light bulbs exploding, and shelves falling. Everybody blames Morgan, but Morgan says it's not her. Eventually, Morgan gets her magick temporarily bounded. She is heart-broken.
- A Council Member named Erin Murphy comes to teach Morgan defense magick.
- Alisa Soto leaves Circle Kithic. She doesn't want to be near Morgan. She along with Mary K. Rowlands attempts to write a letter to the local newspaper about Wicca (in a negative light), but Morgan intervenes.
- Strange incidences convince Hunter that his parents are trying to contact him.
- Since the break up with Raven, Sky decides to go back to Europe to investigate the lead on Hunter's parents.
- The book ends with Hunter saying he's going to Canada (Quebec) to investigate a strong lead on his parents. Morgan is not happy, and Hunter says for her to trust him.
