Morgan Cal
Well, these two love birds didn't last very long. Cal Blaire saunters into Widow's Vale High with charms and good looks. The girls are smitten--especially Bree and Morgan.
In Book of Shadows, a rift between Bree and Morgan ensues, and catapults to a breaking point when Bree tells Morgan to stay away from Cal (as if!). At the end of Book of Shadows, Cal kisses Morgan in front of the whole coven--with Bree staring. After the kissing action, the relationship between Morgan and Cal blossoms while the friendship between Bree and Morgan withers like no tomorrow. Unfortunately, at the end of Dark Magick, Morgan finds out that Cal was using her for her witch powers. Cal even tries to barbecue Morgan in his pool house.
In his own dark, twisted mind, Cal feels he loves Morgan, even though the relationship would have never worked. He comes back in Spellbound to woo Morgan's heart again, but she calls it quits. Spellbound ends with Cal giving up his life for Morgan. Aww! *coughs*
Bree Cal
If you want to be accurate, Bree and Cal didn't have an relationship. It was more of a one night stand. Bree's infatuation with Cal makes her blind to Cal's true schemes. She falls in love with him, sees him on the side, and eventually beds him. In the end, having sex with him didn't work. Cal dumped her for Morgan anyway.
When she finds out that he was using her, Bree becomes angry. She leaves the coven (which Cal is head of) and joins another one. Bree, already angry and hurt, becomes Morgan's enemy. It is only in Awakening that Morgan and Bree mend their friendship.
Robbie Bree
Robbie has been crushing on Bree for years, but his thick glasses and bad acne kept Robbie at bay. In Book of Shadows Morgan gives him a homemade beauty potion that makes any skin care infomercial envious. Robbie's eyes reverts to perfect vision faster you can say "laser surgery", while his acne cleared up to make his skin smooth and perfect. At last, Bree takes notice--as well as other girls. Bree and Robbie start to date but it's rocky. Bree is not the committing type but Robbie hangs on to her because of love (aww, how sweet!). Eventually, Bree gets her act together and notices a good thing when she sees it, and they've been a couple ever since.
Sky Raven
Sky Eventide and Raven Meltzer's relationship proves that attraction and lust doesn't equal a good relationship. In Dark Magick Morgan finds out that Sky has the hots for Raven. This cool British girl finds Raven's wild, adventurous streak fascinating. Quickly, Raven and Sky hook up, and from the start it's a disaster. Make up, break up, fight here, kiss there...they've done it all. But when Killian MacEwan comes into the picture in The Calling, Sky and Raven's already fragile relationship is put into serious jeopardy. While Raven flirts with Killian, Sky is in the background enraged. Eventually, Sky and Raven break up in Changeling--but not with out a bitter sweet ending. Morgan and Raven find Sky and Killian half naked, drinking and creating forbidden magick.
In Full Circle, Sky and Raven unite once again to prepare for the upcoming Beltane celebration. They seemed to have finally made a truce with each other. Are they still dating? Will they ever become a couple again? We will have to see....
Morgan Hunter
Hunter is introduced in The Coven, and Morgan possesses an inert hatred for the boy from the start. It didn't help that Hunter and Cal are half brothers--and enemies--with Morgan stuck right in the middle of the drama. When Cal finally shows his true colors, the relationship between Morgan and Hunter gradually grows. Then Cal returns in Spellbound to win Morgan's heart. In this book, Morgan's final ties to Cal are severed while the bonds between herself and Hunter finally unite. Since Spellbound, Morgan and Hunter relationship has grown into a bond that will last a lifetime, maybe more. They are true soul mates. ...Or are they?
Rose Diarmuid
It starts out innocent enough. Rose MacEwans goes into the nearby woods to activate a love charm on a stone for her friend, Kyra. But Rose has a change of plans. She decides to use the stone on Diarmuid, a handsome Leapvaughn blood witch. The attraction--thanks to the love spell--is instant, and Diarmuid and Rose are inseparable. Of course Rose has to see him secretly because her mother nor anybody else would approve. After all, Rose is a Wodebayne, considerd the lowest of all the blood witch clans. The couple see each other and make plans together. They finally make love, and Rose purposefully conceives a child with him. (Dumb!)
But the love soon sours when Rose looses her charmed love stone. When that happens, Diarmuid dumps her. This is really bad, especially when Rose is pregnant for his child! Rose goes to visit him in his hometown, Lillipool, to find out that he is engaged to another blood witch. Ack! Despite this, Rose is determined to win him back from Siobhan MacMahon, a Vykrothe blood witch and Diarmuid's fianceé. Of course these girls do not get along, and both girls use petty magick to wage war against each other. Things soon turn deadly...and eventually Rose is set up and tried for witchcraft. Rose is sentenced to death at the trial and thrown in jail. Diarmuid enters into the scene bad-mouthing and almost raping Rose. Wanting justice, Rose sends the dark wave. The dark wave demolishes the entire town of Lillipool! Rose is disowned by her mother and becomes high priestess of a dark coven.
The moral of Origins? Say no to love spells!
Jenna Matt
Jenna Ruiz and Matt Alder appear to have a good, solid relationship. After all, they are a solid couple of four years, right? When Raven and Bree quit Cirrus and join another one, Kithic, Matt meets Raven on the side. In Blood Witch, Morgan sees Matt and Raven conducting a tryst. What were they doing? Ahem. When Morgan confronts him, he says he always desires Raven but doesn't really want her--as a girlfriend.
Whatever.
Jenna eventually spilt from the cheating bastard in Changeling. Not long after that she started dating Simon.
Alisa Charlie
Who knew romance would blossom in the small town of Gloucester, Massachuettes. In Reckoning Alisa finds some, but there is just one, small problem: he is taken by her cousin, Brigid. The attraction is instant between the couple. But Alisa keeps her feelings inside because Charlie is already taken. But love can't be denied; in the end Charlie dumps Brigid and starts dating Alisa. Awww.
This ain't done. In fact, it might never be done!
